Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are at it again with a new comedy! The marking was decent for this comedy. I liked the fact that they did not show you all of the funny parts in the trailers. The movie moved at a nice pace and kept you invested in each character throughout the film. They did a great job of balancing the jokes with the dramatic and heartfelt moments. The cast did well but Tina Fey was the stand out performance for me.
The best part about the film is the switching of the roles between Tina and Amy. It was a nice change to see Amy be the sweet and responsible character and finally have Tina be the wild child of the two. When you see it on screen, you buy it hook, line, and sinker. The chemistry between these two, drives this move.
This film is great for a girl’s night out with a couple drinks or your sisters (See what I did there). And guys, don’t worry if your girlfriend or wife drags you to this film, you will be able to enjoy it as you shove some popcorn in your face and have some genuine laughs. Cinema Wise gives Sisters a 3 out of 5.
