This series came out of nowhere and gave new birth to Keanu Reeves as an action star. With this new chapter in the John Wick story, we get more action and great stunt choreography. John Wick: Chapter 3 picks up right where we left off in John Wick: Chapter 2 and just runs with it. It blows this world wide open and expands on the organization known as the High Table. We find that this organization’s resources are more than just the Continental Hotels.
This movie is a fast-paced action movie. The moments of action are amazing and the stunt choreography is some of the best I have seen. The script of this film serves its purpose but does not blow you out of the water. However, with this story you really don’t need much dialogue. There is a time in the film where no one says anything for a good 20 minutes. These moments fly by as you are so engrossed with all the action on the screen.
John Wick: Chapter 3 is a great continuation of a story that just is an awesome series. While I still believe that the first film was lightning in a bottle, these two sequels are highly enjoyable. If they keep up with this formula and expanding on this world, the John Wick franchise which they have created will keep my interest. Cinema Wise gives John Wick: Chapter 3- Parabellum a 3.5 out of 5.
