The first film to follow up the events of Endgame starts off with a bang. With the future of the universe in question, this film is a great start to the continued story with great twists and turns ahead. The story is a great adventure while keeping the heart and awkwardness of being a young teenager.
The film is shot beautifully and the special effects are stunning. The way that John Watts uses them at certain points in the film is absolutely breathtaking. Even when things are going down and there is a lot on the screen, the film still seems to breathe and let you take in the beautiful scenery as well as witness the destruction.
Tom Holland proves yet again that he is the best version of Spider-Man we have seen in live action, maybe even the best on screen. This film also has a well-rounded supporting cast that is used in all the correct ways. Watching Jake Gyllenhaal’s performance is very interesting and is worth multiple viewings.
Spider-Man Far from Home is a great continuation of the Marvel Universe, while also being a smaller story and stand-alone film. The film is beautifully shot and has a cast that has great chemistry. Cinema Wise gives Spider-Man Far from Home a 4.25 out of 5. One to see in theaters and worth the ticket in IMAX or 3D.
